Mangaluru: The citizens in Mangaluru can pay around 23 types of fees to Mangalore City Corporation using the services of ICICI Bank digital tax collection centre.
The digital payment centre of ICICI Bank was set up at the corporation’s ward office in Valencia on Wednesday, March 20.
The centre will accept debit and credit card payments apart from cash and DDs.
People can pay their property tax, water bill, trade license fee among others in the centre.
Speaking on the occasion, an ICICI Bank official said that the digital mode of payment would help many people in the city make the payments using debit and credit cards and avoid standing in large queues at the corporation office.
