He said that he is working with the state Government to set up 200 dispensaries in the state’s taluks and villages. Providing an insight into his efforts to promote homeopathy as the president of the Karnataka Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine, he said his other promise – that of constructing a Homeo Bhavan – is also nearing fulfillment. “I have not taken my salary and other perks from the Board for 76 Months, saving for the board Rs: 50,000 a month, which along with the savings already with the Board, has enabled us to construct an administrative block on the prime land allocated to the board in the heart of Bengaluru. It will be inaugurated in the next couple of months,” he said. The prime land worth 40 crores, on which it is being constructed, was allotted he said, after he appealed to the former minister in the Karnataka Government Shri Ramesh Kumar for the same, using his good offices. He said Homeopaths, should learn and practice well, not run after money with gimmicks. Money, he said will flow from good practice and he cited his own example – He came from a small town and didnt know a word of English when he first came to Bengaluru in 1975. Touching upon admissions to Homeopathy Colleges, Dr. Rudresh, said he is working with the AYUSH ministry, to ensure the appropriate percentile in the NEET Entrance exam is fixed for admission. The current percentile, he said, means that the Homeopathy becomes the last resort of a candidate. He urged the students who took up homeopathy to learn to love it and practice it well.
