Mangaluru: A flight from Muscat to Mangaluru, ferrying 63 Indians, arrived at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Wednesday, May 20.
Initially, 178 passengers were present on the flight while it took off from Muscat. As many as 115 passengers alighted the plane at the Bengaluru airport before it flew for Mangaluru. Later, the remaining 63 passengers arrived at MIA at around 8.05 pm.
This was the third Vande Bharat Mission flight ferrying Indians that arrived at the Mangaluru airport.
It can be recalled that two flights arrived at the Mangaluru airport from Dubai.
Soon after they landed at the airport, the passengers were given a health check-up, money exchange service, sim cards, health kits and other procedures were held. Later, the passengers were served food and were moved to quarantine centres.
