Mangaluru: A flight ferrying 178 Indians from Muscat to Mangaluru is set to arrive at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Wednesday, May 20.
This flight, being conducted as part of the Central Government’s ‘Vande Bharath Mission’, will come to MIA via Bengaluru and will be carrying 178 passengers including two infants.
Among the 178 passengers, 115 are from Bengaluru and the remaining are from Mangaluru, sources from the district administration informed.
This is the third flight ferrying Indians to Mangaluru from abroad.
It can be noted that two Vande Bharat Mission flights have already arrived here from Dubai, out of which 15 passengers tested positive for COVID-19 so far.
