Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district registered 34 fresh COVID positive cases and two deaths on Monday, July 6.
With this the total positive cases has reached 1,268 in the district and total COVID fatalities stands at 24.
The deceased are a 52-yeard-old man and and a 62-year-old man.
A total of 20,850 samples have been sent for tests so far. As many as 19,008 have turned out negative, and 1,276 are positive till date. There are 667 active cases at present. As many as 584 persons have recovered and been discharged.
As many as 30 patients were discharged from Wenlock on Monday. Three patients are currently in ICU, while six have been shifted out of the ICU.
