Mangaluru: A consignment of relief materials was dispatched from Mangaluru to the flood-hit districts of northern Karnataka on Monday, August 19.
Clothing, daily use items, buckets, mineral water, rice, coconut oil and others were among the relief materials sent.
Flagging off the vehicle carrying the relief material, Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil thanked all those who donated to the cause of the flood victims. He also thanked the officials who sorted the relief materials at the collection centre.
