Mangaluru: “Instead of confusing people with the separate protocol, the district administration of Dakshina Kannada should follow state guidelines to control the spread of novel Coronavirus,” said former minister B Ramanath Rai.
In the press release here Rai stated that “Coronavirus has adversely impacted lives of people. People are already undergoing mental agony. Separate guidelines to the district will add more problems to them.”
He added that three days’ time was given before the lockdown was imposed and that fishermen should follow Covid guidelines and be permitted to sell their catch.
“The united efforts are likely to make it easier to defeat the virus. Take district leaders, experts, service organizations, and social workers into confidence while fighting against the virus,” he suggested.
