Mangaluru: According to a press release from the Dakshina Kannada district police, they have seized 840 vehicles for lockdown violations and reported 76 cases against 7,636 people moving around without masks in public areas since April 22 Saturday.

It was mentioned in the press release that, “To avoid the spread of the virus, the government has already imposed strict guidelines, which are being strictly enforced in the district.”

“Since the government has prolonged the lockout until June 7, people are asked to follow the social distancing, wearing masks and only leaving their homes in an emergency. The guidelines will be strictly enforced in the Dakshina Kannada district from now on,” the release said.
