Covid-19: Five persons discharged from Wenlock Hospital after recovery

Mangaluru: A total of five persons were discharged from the Wenlock Hospital after recovering from Covid-19 on Saturday, May 30.

With this, the total number of discharged patients who recovered from Covid-19 in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 44.

As 14 persons tested positive for Covid-19 today, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the district reached 119. Of the total cases, seven succumbed and 44 were discharged as on today.

There are now 68 active cases in the district. Of the 68 cases, a 76-year-old man, who is suffering from blood pressure, sugar and heart disease and a 40-year-old woman, who is suffering from respiratory issues, are receiving treatment in the ICU at Wenlock Hospital.

The condition of the remaining patients is stable, sources from district administration informed.
