Counting of votes at Canara College tomorrow

Mangalore : Tight security has been maintained in and around the centres where the votes polled during the May 5 Assembly elections will be counted from 8 am onwards on May 8.

Counting of votes of Mangalore, Mangalore North, Mangalore South, Belthangady, Bantwal and Moodbidri  constituencies will be held  at Canara College while counting of votes  of  Puttur and Sullia constituencies will be held at Canara Pre-University College.

There will be fourteen tables for each constituency and one supervisor, counting assistant, micro observer and D group employee. One agent of each candidate will also be allowed  inside the Centre. However, use of mobile phones inside the centres are banned.

In Udupi, counting of votes of all five constituencies will be held at TA Pai English Medium School, Kunjibettu.
