Bantwal: 25-year-old Manjunath dies in a tragic accident, between a car and his scooter, near Kundrabettu, Bantwal on February 7.
The deceased was a resident of Baila near Kalladka. He was working at a Shamiyana shop in Melkar.
The accident took place when Manjunath was travelling back home on his scooter and a car coming from Puttur crashed into him. The accident left the scooter badly damaged and the rider severely injured.
Manjunath was immediately taken to a private hospital but he passed away before treatments.
Traffic SI Rajesh KV visited the spot and conducted an investigation.
Earlier on Sunday morning, another two-wheeler rider died after his scooter collided with a tanker.
