Mangaluru: Buoyed by the exit poll results, which predicted an easy win for the BJP in the by election voting held on Thursday, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will visit the temple town Dharmastala on Sunday.
It can be recalled that by election voting vote counting will be taken up on Monday. The BJP needs to win atleast 8 seats for the stability of the state government.
According to the tour programme issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, Yediyurappa will first visit Sagara, where he will attend speaker Vishweshwara Hegade Kageri’s daughter’s marriage. From Sagara he will fly to Dharmasthala. After darshan at Dharmasthala temple, he will lay the foundation stone for works of over Rs.300 crores proposed in the Belthangady taluk.
Yediyurappa will be accompanied by a host of BJP leaders and ministers.
