Mangalore : The CET document verification process will begin at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management at Adyar from June 5 onwards, informed Jagajeevandas Bhandary, Chief Nodal Officer.
Speaking to press persons here, Bhandary said the Sahyadri College was chosen as one of the 13 CET Helpline Centres of the state by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
He said on the first day, document verification of students who have secured ranks upto 2000 will be held. On June 6, verification of documents upto 3000 ranks will be done and the process will continue thus for the next few days, he informed.
Bhandary said students while coming for verification of documents should bring along with them two photos, CET admission ticket, SSLC, PUC marks cards, study and income certificates attested by Gazetted officer. The centre will function from 8 am onwards and there will be seven counters each having a verification officer and computer operator, Bhandary informed.
Once the verification process is complete, the candidates will get an acknowledgement card, verification slip with a secret login password so that they can log in to the official website and choose their seat option. The students will also be given an audio visual CD to assist them during online counseling. More details can be had by contacting 0824 – 2275675
