Mangalore: Karnataka state AYUSH Medical Officers Association, Dakshina Kannada district celebrated Doctor’s Day here on July 1.
Celebration has held at the district AYUSH Hospital at Hathill in Lalbagh.
Dr Mahammed Ikbal, special duty officer of Health and Family Welfare minister was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the service provided by AYUSH doctors.
Dr Sayyed Zahid Hussain, Yunani practitioner who is serving in AYUSH department of district Wenlock Hospital was felicitated. District unit president Dr Devdas presided over the function.
Secretory Dr Muralidhar welcomed the gathering. Dr Shyamarao gave introductory speech. Dr Sahana Panduranga rendered vote of thanks.
AYUSH doctors Dr Vishwanath, Dr Manikarnika K A, Dr Sahana K, Dr Shobharani, Dr Mahammed Ashfak Hussain, Dr Ramesh Chandra and staff were present.
