Mangaluru: The Animal Care Trust will be conducting an adoption drive at the Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work in Jeppu, Mangaluru on August 25 from 10 am to 5 pm. Over 25 puppies and 10 kittens will be up for adoption at the drive.
While no adoption fee is charged, ACT collects a nominal amount of Rs 200 as registration fee to help cover the basic medical expenses.
Those who wish to adopt an animal are required to provide a valid photo ID for registration. Adopting families will also be advised about taking care of a pet at home.
The Animal Care Trust in Shakthinagar believes that every animal deserves to live its best life and has been investing in lifesaving animal welfare work to make that happen. Since 2000, the trust has been providing shelter and care to abandoned, sick, and stray animals.
