34th BHMS Batch inaugurated at Fr. Muller Homoeopathic Medical College

Mangaluru: The inaugural programme of the 34th batch of the BHMS course was organized in the college auditorium on 16.09.2019 at 2.30pm.The programme commenced with the invoking of the blessings of the Almighty with a meaningful prayer song. Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, hospital and HPD, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Rector of St Aloysius College.

Rev, Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Chief Guest of the inaugural programme symbolically inaugurated the 34th batch of BHMS course by lighting the lamp accompanied by the dignitaries on the dais and student representatives from the 34th batch Mr. S Abhineshwan and Ms. Anna Johnson. Rev.Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, in his inaugural address, congratulated the freshers for choosing this prestigious institution. He emphasized that Intelligence and character are the true goals of education which are essential for the holistic development of a student. “To convert dreams into reality one should think, learn, grow and get intellectually equipped to meet the challenges of the world”, he said.

Rev. Fr Richard Coelho Director, Father Muller charitable institutions presented a memento to the chief guest Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ. Rev. Fr Richard Coelho Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions inspired and enlightened the gathering with his presidential address. He said that Homoeopathy is gaining momentum in India and the College is imparting Homoeopathic education along with core values to bring forth competent homeopaths globally for the last 33 years. “The budding Homoeopaths should be committed to respect the human race and provide healthcare with humility to the needy”, he said.

Dr Shivaprasad K, Principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College proposed the vote of thanks. The formal inaugural programme concluded with the institution anthem at 3.20pm.Thereafter Parent Teacher Students’ meeting was organized. The freshers introduced themselves. Dr. ESJ Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal presented the academic report. Dr Shivaprasad K, Principal briefed about the rules and regulations of the college. Details of logging in and accessing the MIS (Management information system) were explained and demonstrated by Dr. Joseph Thomas. The programme concluded at 5.20pm after an interaction between the parents and freshers with their mentors. Dr. Jolly D’Mello compered the programme.
