Mandya: In a gruesome incident, a 16-year-old boy has allegedly sexually assaulted a three-year-old toddler under Bellur police limits of the district. The toddler is now battling for life.
The incident sent shockwaves across the state. Senior police officers including SP Parashuram rushed to the village.
The accused boy is absconding.
According to the police sources, the boy sexually assaulted the girl when she was playing near her home.
The victim was rushed to a private hospital and her condition is said to be critical.
