Mandya: If Sasikanth Senthil resigned stating that the country’s democracy is in danger, then it is like humiliating the Parliament, said Karnataka Tourism Minister C T Ravi.
Speaking to reporters in Mandya on Monday, September 9 evening, Ravi (a staunch supporter of the RSS) said that it was wrong for the former Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner (DC) to resign by citing the Kashmir issue and democracy.
“The Parliament approved the government’s decision on Kashmir and all of its members supported it. Senthil is not bigger than the Parliament,” he said.
Afterwards, Ravi visited Chamarajanagar city, where he said that he would visit Chamarajanagar even if he becomes the Chief Minister since he does not harbour any superstitious beliefs.
