Mandya: JDS-Congress alliance candidate for the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency Nikhil Kumaraswamy has stated that a few Congress leaders didn’t follow the Maithri Dharma (coalition rules) in Mandya.
Speaking to reporters, he stated that, as per the agreement, all the Congress leaders were supposed to support him, however, some did not adhere to this.
“But I am confident of an easy win in the constituency,” he said, commenting on the possible outcome of the heated battle between himself and independent candidate Sumalatha in the constituency.
Stating that he didn’t visit any foreign country after the polling, he added that no matter what the outcome of the elections may be, he will remain in Mandya.
