Mandya: In an interesting political development in the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, three more independent candidates named Sumalatha have filed their nominations, here on Tuesday, March 26.
The three candidates of the same name are Sumalatha Manje Gowda from Goravi village of K R Pete town, Sumalatha Darshan from Kanakapura and Sumalatha Sidde Gowda from Srirangapatna.
Now with these three filing their nominations, Mandya Lok Sabha constituency will be witnessing four Sumalatha’s including Sumalatha Ambareesh, wife of late actor/politician M H Ambareesh, contesting as independents.
