Mandya: “The party workers should be prepared for everything from now on as the district and taluk panchayat elections are likely to be announced soon. Meet every voter and inform them about the achievements of the Centre and the state government,” said BJP District President K J Vijayakumar.
Addressing mahashakti kendra leaders, booth presidents and the part workers here at Sri Ayyappaswamy temple premises in Keragodu village, Vijayakumar suggested party workers that the BJP had found a good base in the district, which has to be best utilised to increase the party’s impact. The leaders at booth and Shakti Kendra level should emphasize on door-to-door campaign and thus strengthen the party, he averred.
Encouraging party workers, Vijayakumar said that Mandal Karyakarani and Morcha Karyakarani meetings should be completed within the stipulated date by a fixed date. Booth Committee members’ appointment should be made as soon as possible. It is important to motivate each other and encourage celebratory environment as far as preparations are concerned, he stressed.
Calling on the workers to mark Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, meaningfully, he suggested that social service activities including blood donation camps, cleanliness drive, planting saplings and others should be undertaken at the booth level.
Expressing concern over rising number of Covid cases, he asked the party workers to make the masses aware of the increasing second wave of COVID-19. Encourage them to wear masks, to get vaccinated along with sanitizer distribution, he said and added that prevention of spread of corona infection should be party workers’ priority
While working for the victory of the candidates that would be fielded by party for the Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections, the party workers should keep in mind the confusion that had ensued during the gram panchayat elections and thus, work with much more vigour. The victorious candidates should prove themselves to good people’s representatives and party workers should work towards unity and development of the party, he emphasized.
