Mandya: Activists of the District Congress labor force have come out in a unique protest over the price hike by guttling the rice in front of the sheriff’s office.
Activists gathered in front of the sheriff’s office, shouting outrage against the central and state government. The Protesters held a water bottle and rice in their hands.
Farmers, poor people, and the middle class have been severely hit by the rising cost of commodities. They accused BJP-led governments of bothering the people in one way or another. The state and central government must take the necessary steps to improve the lives of the poor peasants and of the people of Low-income groups.
K.M Radhakrishna, Ummadhalli Nagesh, HV Ramakrishna, Kariyappachari, Borlinga, K.C. Yogesh with their leader Anjana Shrikant and Shridhar have participated in the protest.
