Madikeri: The ‘Samartha Kannadigaru Sanghatane’ has organised a statewide campaign on two-wheelers to create social awareness regarding voting among people, ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
With the slogan “Subhadra Rashtrakkagi Mathadhana Arivu” (Voting awareness for a secure country), the organisation has already covered 24 districts and are now in Madikeri. Chief Convener of the organisation, S Basavaraju, met Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy and CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Lakshmi Priya and shared information about the campaign and handed over their brochure.
