Madikeri: State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, VS Basavaraju will be visiting Kodagu district on February 23.
He is to visit District Government Hospital between 9.30 AM to 11 AM. Later he will speak about bringing awareness about the rights of differently abled people, in Madikeri Fort Old Method hall.
Assistant Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities said that Basavaraju will speak about the Implementation of Disability Act of 1995 and protection of disabled people’s rights.
“A meeting will be held to address about the education of the differently abled children, their revival, providing basic facilities and about the protection of the rights of the differently abled people,” said the Asst Commissioner.
