Somwarpet: The police have arrested three men involved in manufacturing spurious liquor at Tholur Shettalli village near here.
The accused have been identified as D K Lingaraju, H D Lingaraju and D S Keerthi.
The culprits were preparing local liquor in D K Lingaraju’s house and selling it to the locals. The police have seized 14 litres of liquor, three bottles of rum and materials used for preparing liquor.
DySP Dinakar Shetty, Circle Inspector Nanjunde Gowda, Police Inspector Shiva Shankar, Probationary SI Mohan Raj, constables Dayanand, Prakash, Joseph, Arun, Vishwa, Shivakumar, Jagadeesh, Praveen and Shankar carried out the operation to nab the culprits.
