Citizens without voter ID can cast their vote with one of these documents

Madikeri: The voters will have to produce their voter IDs issued by the Election Commission of India to cast their votes. However, those who do not have voter IDs can produce one of these 11 documents to the electoral officials and cast their votes.

* Passport
* Driving License
* Employee ID cards of both private and government sectors
* Bank/Kissan/Post Office pass books with photo
* Pan card
* Smart cards issued under National Population Registration
* National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) job card
* Health Insurance smart card with photo
* Pension Payment Orders with photo
* ID cards of MPs/MLAs/MLCs issued by the government
* Aadhaar Card
