Asking votes only in Modi’s name is inappropriate: Dr Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka

KalladkaPrabakar 3Madikeri: “It is not appropriate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections only using Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name,” opined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Dr Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka.

Speaking at a press meet in Madikeri, Prabhakar Bhat said, “It would be better if the BJP candidates ask for votes by informing people of their own achievements or the developmental projects they will bring to the constituency if elected, rather than educating people of the achievements of PM Modi. People should know what the candidate has done for the constituency or is going to do in future and the candidate should reflect what he has done while he asks for votes”.

Slamming the Mahagathbandhan, Prabhakar Bhat said, “the BJP has agreed upon and confirmed that Modi is its prime ministerial candidate. The Mahagathbandhan has Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, HD Devegowda and many other leaders, but their prime ministerial candidate is not yet been decided. This reflects the indifference among the opposition”.

Speaking about the allegation that the BJP is politicizing the recent surgical strike undertaken by the Indian Air Force for its benefit, Prabhakar Bhat said that the BJP is fighting the election on the basis of nationalism and its achievements in the past five years, not in the name of the Indian Armed Forces.

“PM Modi has given the armed forces freedom to retaliate and fight against the enemies of the nation, which is why the Army and Air Force were successful in destroying the terror groups supported by Pakistan. Modi has made Indians walk with pride,” said Prabhakar Bhat.
