Madikeri: An oath-taking programme was organised in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Anees Kanmani Joy in the auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on the occasion of Anti-Terrorism Day on Tuesday, May 21.
The DC pronounced the oath and speaking on the occasion said, “India was famous for non-violence and endurance and keeping our utmost faith in the great culture of our country we should face all types of terrorism and violence with all our strength and ability.”
All should promise to encourage and achieve peace, communal harmony and mutual understanding and fight against forces threatening human life and values, said DC pronouncing the oath to the staff of different departments of the district administration.
Additional DC P Shivaraju, officers and staff of the different departments of the district administration, participated in the oath-taking ceremony.
