Madikeri: An incident of serial robbery has been taken place in the city’s famous Friday market. The robbers have looted four shops in Mahadevpet recently.
The culprits have also tried to break open more shops, but were unsuccessful. The incident has come to light on the next morning with half broken locks.
The thiefs have broken into shops including a bakery of a one called Suresh and a general store of Ahmed with petty things like fruits, cool drinks and sweets.
It is asumed that the culprits were drunkards, as they have left their respective mobile phones on the spot of the robbery.
