Kodagu: A man who was recently released from the hospital after making a full recovery from COVID-19, has been re-admitted to the hospital.
According to reports, the man from Ketumotte in Virajpet, had complained of a fever and voluntarily got admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, April 15 afternoon.
The man is reportedly being treated in the isolation ward of a designated COVID-19 hospital and his throat swabs and blood samples have been sent for testing. The results are expected to arrive on Thursday morning.
Discharged about a week ago, the man was under home quarantine till he developed a fever again.
District Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy has said that the people need not fear as the man did not leave his home during the post-discharge quarantine period.
