Karwar: A teacher has reportedly treated a student in an inhumane way by tying the student and beating him up.
The incident was reported from the Birampali village of the Joida town on Monday, January 20. As per reports, a student named Janu Takku was beaten up by teacher Rosaiah Reddy of the Government Lower Primary School. The teacher beat the student with a stick in such a manner that the child’s skin peeled off.
Moreover, the child was beaten up in the scorching heat of the sun. The teacher even poured water over the child.
According to sources, the villagers were busy watching a cricket tournament that was going on one near the school. When some of the villagers heard the child’s cries, they rushed to the spot to find Rosaiah behaving monstrously with the child and took him to task.
Meanwhile, the police rushed to the spot and assessed the situation. Later, Rosaiah was taken into custody and interrogated.
