Karwar: A person died minutes after he finished performing the last rites of his mother, here on Wednesday, February 20.
The deceased is Manjunath Atmaram Kolambakar (49) from Siddar.
While performing the final ritual of cremating his mother’s mortal remains, Manjunath collapsed right there.
Although he was rushed to the Siddara Primary Health Care Centre and later shifted to Karwar District Hospital for further treatment, he died on the way.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
A case has been filed In Karwar Rural Police Station.
