Karwar: “H D Deve Gowda has 28 children and all of them are placed in 28 Lok Sabha constituencies. There is no doubt about it”, taunted Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Member of Parliament, Ananth Kumar Hegde, here on Tuesday, March 19.

Hegde addressed the Bharatiya Janata party election campaign meet organised at Baitakola.

He said, “People have not understood the exact meaning of AICC and KPCC. AICC means All India Corruption Committee and KPCC means Karnataka Pradesh Corruption Committee.”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a call to the people of this country in 2014 elections to unroot Congress. This is evident in the district. Within 2019, the Congress party has disappeared from the district”, he added.

Hegde said, “Congress had no competitors but in the current scenario, the party is heading towards extinction.”

“Mahatma Gandhi had once said that the Congress should be dissolved but now it is stepping towards extinction. It is a reward they are getting for what they have done”, he added.
