Karwar: In a car-tanker collision at Harward of Ankola district, three people lost their lives here on Wednesday, February 13 night.
An Orissa-registered car which was heading towards Karwar from Ankola collided with a tanker which had overtaken a vehicle.
The impact of the accident was such that the tanker took the car along with it for about 100 metres.
The people in the car were residents of Bengaluru.
The deceased are yet to be identified.
The injured were rushed to the Karwar District Hospital.
A complaint has been filed in the Ankola Police Station.
