Karwar: BJP state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel informed that the BJP is ready to carry out Operation Kamala in the state anytime to make Karnataka a ‘Rama rajya’ (model state).
Felicitating newly nominated MLC to the state legislative council Shantharama Siddi in Yalapura, he justified Operation Kamala.
“We need numbers in the politics to remain in power. Power is the only way to transform the state into a Rama Rajya. For this purpose Operation Kamala is inevitable,” he said.
He also made it clear that because of the power that BJP has in the state it was able to nominate persons like Shantharama Siddi to the state legislative council.
The statement of the BJP Chief comes in when the Congress staged a stir in the city opposing the tactics of the BJP of purchasing the MLAs to topple an elected governments in various parts of the country like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
