Karwar: The coastal district of Uttara Kannada has been jolted with a corona positive cases that was detected on Tuesday morning.
A 28-year-old man from Bhatkal was tested positive on Tuesday, merely a few days after the district administration heaved a sigh of relief after even the last positive patient was discharged from the hospital after successful treatment.
The district had 11 corona positive cases so far and recently even the 11th patient had recovered and returned home on May 1.
The district administration had said that with this discharge, the district seems to have reached the position of being ‘Corona-free’ district.
