Chikkamagalur: The state government transferred scores of civil servants in the state in wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. However, the inclusion of two officers in the list, posted to the same district brings a smile on everybody’s face.
Newlywed couple-Gautham Bagadi and S Ashwathi have been posted to Chikkamagaluru district. While Bagadi will take charge as the Deputy Commissioner of the district, his wife Ashwathi will be the CEO of Chikkamagaluru district.
The two IAS officers were in a relationship for four years and got married in Kozhikode district of Kerala on February 14, Valentine’s day.
The two were working together in Davangere in the same positions. While Bagadi hails from Andhra Pradesh, Ashwathi is from Kerala.
