Chikkamagaluru: Charmadi Ghat (NH-73) will be shut down during the night from today, July 9 onwards.
The restriction on vehicular movement will be in place from 7 pm to 7 am, said sources.
The Malnad region has been recieving heavy rainfall over the past several days and since the ghat is prone to landslides, this decision has been taken, sttated a communication from Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gautham.
