Chikkamagaluru: The house of Amulya Leona, the young girl, who raised ‘pro-Pakistan’ slogan during an anti-CAA protest at Freedom Park in Bengaluru on Thursday evening in presence of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, was pelted with stones by miscreants on Thursday.

Amulya hails from Gubbi Gadde village in Chikamagaluru.

It is said that a few miscreants pelted stones at the house of Amulya on Thursday late night.

Police sources said that a case has been registered and the probe is on, while police protection has been provided at Amulya’s residence keeping in mind the safety of her family members.

The locals suspect that the right wing activists may be behind this act.

Amulya has been booked under Section 124A (Offence of sedition) of the Indian Penal Code and she has been sent to 14-day judicial custody.

Meanwhile, her father Oswald Noronha, who is a small-time Janata Dal (Secular) leader has condemned his daughter’s act and said that the guilty should be punished as per law.

The video clip of Amulya’s sloganeering shows that she had suddenly reached the stage, and at first shouted ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ and then said Pakistan Zindabad.

Owaisi too had stopped the girl from raising slogans and also condemned the incident.
