Officer/ Assistant Manager – Fire (for Thermal Power Plant)

Job Description

Executing compliance to safety & Fire Regulations.
Conduct/ organize daily monitoring with an objective to ensure fire prevention measures and upkeep of fire-fighting installations.
To provide fire-fighting training to all employees, contractor work-forces, vendors and others as per management guideline.
Co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in firefighting and in evacuation in the event of fire or other emergencies.
Carry out the rescue operation at emergency scenes when required.
Coordinate the Departmental Fire Prevention Program.
Ensure availability of firefighting equipment including tenders is always equipped with all type of extinguishing media, equipment & small gears.
Preparation and maintain documents and records as per integrated management system.
Periodic check of extinguishers, hose boxes, hydrants monitors, spray systems and fire tenders
Conduct mock drills, rescue drill, and fire drill.
Handling contractual manpower.

Professional qualification BE/B.Tech – FIRE & SAFETY is  must
