Jangaon: US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to India is a dream come true for one Telangana man, who has even appealed to the Central Government to allow him to meet his idol.
Bussa Krishna considers himself to be a “devotee” of The Donald. He has even erected a 6-foot statue of the US President near his residence. He even offers prayers to the statue on a daily basis.
“I wish for India-America relations to remain strong. I fast for Trump’s long life every Friday. I also carry his picture and pray to him before work. I want to meet him and I request the government to make my dream come true,” Bussa told ANI.
Bussa says that Trump is like a god to him, which is why he built the statue, a feat that took a month and 15 labourers to complete.
Reportedly, the villagers have begun referring to him as “Trump” Krishna as an acknowledgement of Bussa’s devotion. His house has also been dubbed the Trump House.
While it sounds like mockery, the villagers have never really objected to, but have appreciated Bussa’s devotion.
The village head has also supported Bussa and asked the government to fulfill his dream of meeting President Trump.
Donald Trump is scheduled to visit India with his wife, first lady Melania Trump on February 24. They will be in India for two days.
