New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the country in the wake of the second wave of Coronavirus.
PM Modi urged the state government to impose lockdown only as of the last stage and to try and avoid it.
Modi stated that the government was doing everything under its control to curb the crisis.
He informed new oxygen plants in states, using industrial oxygen for medical use, Oxygen Express – were some of the measures the government has undertaken in the last few days.
He also praised the efforts of NGOs and individuals who are coming out to support people in need during the crisis and encouraged the youth to step in and help as many people as they can.
Modi then called on media to create awareness among the people and to eliminate the rumors.
