Jalandhar: The 21-day lockdown in the country is surely helping the people look at the nature and its beauty from a different perspective.
Believe it or not, the residents of Jalandhar are now basking over and enjoying the breath-taking beauty of Dhauladhar mountain ranges sitting at their windows.
The mountain range is about 213 kms away from the city and senior citizens say that it is after many many decades that the peak has been visible from the city.
Many took to social media to share this delight and many went live on Facebook too.
It is said that dropping level of pollution is the main reason behind this lavish spectacle.
“Jalandhar residents have a view of snow-capped mountains. This is with a dramatic dip in Air pollution levels due to lockdown. Senior citizens say it was almost after a generation that the mountains have been visible in the City,” Himachal Tourism tweeted through its official handle.
Over 90 cities, including Delhi, have recorded minimal air pollution in the last few days.
