Alappuzha: A bride from Kerala got married in a small ceremony arranged in a hospital Covid ward by strictly following the protocols.
Since the families did not want to miss the auspicious ‘muhurtham,’ Abhirami dressed up her in PPE kit instead of the conventional bridal saree and tied the marital knot with her covid-infected beau.
On Sunday April 25, Abhirami and Sarathmon S, tied the ‘thali,’ the mangal sutra in a special room in Alappuzha Vandanam medical college’s COVID ward in the presence of his mother and another close relative of the bride.
The wedding took place with the permission of the District Collector.
