It can be recalled that the CBSE cancelled part of this year’s exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown. For those students who appeared for more than three subjects, the ‘average of the best three performing subjects’ were given to the pending exam papers that were cancelled. For those who answered only three papers, the average marks in the ‘best two performing subjects’ were awarded to the other papers. For those who appeared for one or two subject papers, their results were calculated based on their performance in the papers answered and in the internal or practical exams.
