Hubbali: Remembering Kundagol’s former MLA Late C S Shivalli, the Kundagol Assembly by-election in-charge and State Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar was in tears here on Thursday, May 9.
During the election rally, DKShi became emotional and said that Shivalli had worked for the people without any bias, irrespective of caste and religion.
He said, “I wept when I heard that he was no more. He was a leader in its true sense who had toiled for the upliftment of the economically weaker sections of the society.”
Meanwhile, he urged the electorate to vote for Shivalli’s wife and Kundagol Assembly constituency candidate Kusuma Shivalli and bless her with victory.
