If you are Indian, who has landed in England, you will surely be elated to meet Angus Denoon, a chef, who sells lip-smacking Indian chats! Yes, Denoon’s professional hands stir up some mouth-watering Bhelpuri and Kolkata’s favourite snack-Jhalmuri in England.

A video of Denoon making bhel in paper cones has gone viral on social media. He was outside the Oval in London where the India-Australia match was going on. An elated crowd is seen striking a conversation with Denoon and as one connoisseur asks him where he picked the art of making Jhalmuri, he says, “Kolkata”.

Denoon has tried his level best to keep the look of a ‘Chaat’ shop as Indian as possible. The round bamboo basket is placed with an array of chutneys and powders and on the outer rim of the basket, one can see yellow and red plastic flowers too!

Bhelpuri is a crispy, sweet, tangy, spicy mixture of puffed rice mixed, skillfully garnished with sev (chickpea vermicelli), onions, tomatoes and an assortment of chutneys.
