Haveri: Amid reservations expressed by the party’s senior leaders and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy himself, former CM Siddaramaiah made it clear that he will become CM again if the people bless him. “I will get power only if the people bless me,” he stated.
Attending an event at Mailra temple in Haveri, he stated that nothing can be achieved without the people’s blessings. “We will remain in papers if the people don’t bless us,” he said.
Endowment minister P T Parameshwar Naik, who was present at the meeting stated that everyone is waiting to see Siddaramaiah as the CM again. “I wish he becomes CM again,” he said.
Meanwhile, CM HDK summoned KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and DCM Dr G Parameshwara to his residence on Wednesday, May 8 evening and made it clear that statements about Siddaramaiah becoming CM is creating confusion in the coalition government.
