Bengaluru: Over 160 staff members of a garment factory in Hassan industrial area tested positive for Covid-19.
According to the locals, a few of these patients were found sleeping on the floor of the garment factory.
Immediately labour department officials rushed to the factory and shifted them to the notified Covid 19 care center.
Meanwhile, employees of another garment factory in Mysuru district held protest after one of their colleagues tested positive. They demanded immediate closure of the factory to break the chain of virus infection.
