Kalaburagi: Six people from Kalaburagi and two other people tested positive for COVID-19 on May 13 evening. Additionally, a woman from the Dakshina Kannada district lost her life to the complications caused by the disease.
In total, the state reported 34 additional COVID-19 positive cases today, 26 (including one death) of which were reported in the morning.
Of the six cases from Kalaburagi, four are contacts of Patient 806, one is a contact of Patient 848 and one has a travel history to Gunturu in Andhra Pradesh.
Bengaluru Urban and Bidar have reported one case each on Wednesday evening.
According to the bulletin, the case from Bengaluru is a 24-year-old man who has a travel history to London.
The Bidar case, a 44-year-old man, has had contact with a containment zone in the district.
Karnataka now has 959 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which includes 33 deaths, one non-COVID caused death and 451 discharges.
